Philly 10k Preview
This week we feature the run-up to the much anticipated Philly 10k. Many of us at PRTC will be racing so here is some info sent in a recent email from the race team:
“Packet Pick-Up: The weekend’s festivities begin at the Diadora Kickoff Party at Philadelphia Brewing Company. Runners will pick up their race bib and shirt and can stick around to enjoy music, beer and good food at our outdoor pop-up party + custom merch shop that is very different from your typical race expo (we’re making you come so it better be a good time, right?). Runners can get in and out quickly or stick around and hang out for as long as they want. Race participants must attend in order to get their bib and shirt, but this event is open to the public. Runners have to come. Everyone can come.”
When: Friday, August 25th: 4pm – 9pm & Saturday August 26th: 10am – 2pm
Where: Philadelphia Brewing Company: 2440 Frankford Ave (Frankford & E Hagert Street)
Race Day: Sunday August 27th at 7:30 AM. More info here!
