PRTC Weekly: 11/28/2016 (Turkey Trotting, Annual Awards and More)

Turkey Trotting

As much of the club recovered from Philly Race weekend, a few PRTC members laced up their racing shoes for hometown Turkey Trots. While most of the club used the holiday race for a fun workout or easy local race, we have at least one reportable achievement:
Aliah Molczan PR’D in the 5k at the New Cumberland (PA) Turkey Trot. Aliah bested her previous record by 10 seconds(!) with a time of 20:31. For her efforts, she placed 5th overall female and won her age group (prize of pumpkin bread). She credits her success to recently begun ballet classes and has her eyes set on sub 20 minutes. Nice job Aliah!
